Fall 2026 Condensed CDMP® Study Group
Prepare with purpose for the CDMP Data Management Fundamentals exam—or deepen your review of the knowledge areas that support CDMP Practitioner and Master specialist exams. The six-week learning cohort is now underway and concludes with an optional, in-person proctored exam during DAMA Days 2026.

A focused path through the DAMA-DMBOK®
This condensed cohort is aligned to the Data Management Fundamentals exam blueprint and the DAMA-DMBOK® v2 Revised edition. Participants review assigned materials before each meeting, then join experienced practitioners and CDMP credential holders for guided discussion, questions, exam tips, and practice.

Agenda note: Chapters 15–17 are not assessed on the Data Management Fundamentals exam. Presenter assignments, virtual access information, learning materials, and other cohort communications are provided to registered participants.
Use the cohort to prepare for your specialist path
The Fundamentals exam is required at every CDMP certification level. Candidates pursuing Practitioner or Master certification must also complete two specialist exams. Because this cohort reviews the corresponding DAMA-DMBOK knowledge areas, participants can use it to reinforce Fundamentals preparation, identify future specialties, or concentrate their self-study in one of the seven available specialist domains.

Wednesday, October 7 proctored exam at DAMA Days
Exam registration is closed.
The registration deadline for the October 7, 2026 DAMA-MN proctored
CDMP exam has passed. We are no longer accepting additional candidates
for this exam session.
Registered candidates may sit for an in-person, proctored CDMP exam on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, during the second day of the DAMA-MN Data Conference at the Shoreview Community Center.
- Study group participation and exam participation were registered separately.
- Registered candidates may take the Fundamentals exam or an eligible specialist exam.
- The DAMA-MN event listing identifies the in-person exam fee as $300.
- Candidates who are not registered for the DAMA-MN proctored session may arrange a future online exam directly through DAMA International.
