Presentation Abstract

If you want to communicate the importance of Data Quality, then you need to learn how to explain it in terms of real-world examples that your mother understands. Attendees will learn measures of DQ that impact business expense, revenues/growth and most importantly customer experience.

So, you’ve developed an enterprise data governance function and assigned stewards, but explaining how data quality issues impacts them still isn’t working out? Take a step back, see if you can explain why you care about DQ so much to your mom- using impactful examples that customers like her face on a day-to-day basis.

We’re all customers with pet peeves, so during this session we’ll discuss customer focused business challenges with roots in data quality. In this session we’ll use business KPIs of importance, such as: measures of cost, sales, revenue, income, customer experience (e.g. Net Promoter Score), and customer lifetime value in conjunction with customer pet peeves to illustrate how the best companies drive customer loyalty through excellent data quality.

Case studies may include: examples of improved data quality through use of Blockchain technology, Internet of Things (IOT) and Machine Learning.
