Abstract  

The Covid-19 pandemic illustrates the importance of collecting reliable data about infections and deaths. Sampling techniques are crucial to accurate assesment of reality. Test accuracy is a major issue as well as timing of results. The graphic display of derived data (information) also bcomes critical to yield decision-maker understanding and sound decisions. 


       

Biography


Michael Scofield Assistant Professor of Nursing at Loma Linda University in California.  Michael has more than 20 years in Data Warehousing, Data Integration, Data Governance, and Data Quality.  Michael specializes in data quality assessments, data profiling, reverse data engineering, deriving information from data, and data monitoring.  Michael has presented to DAMA many times in the past.
